Despite not playing the game like you do, I really enjoy your content Luke. You touched upon the key element which is storytelling. I'm really not arsed how you play it, I just want an entertaining video while I eat my dinner. I think something different going forward you could do, especially if FM keeps it as it is & just uses holiday with the AM effectively taking charge in-game is to use the editor to choose your AM. Obviously don't want you and dad choosing Klopp and Guardiola but one choosing like Jason Tindall and the other choosing Steve Holland might influence how the rebuilds go based on their stats. Anyway, keep doing what you do, mate, don't listen to the blurts.

Can you start a save from a third tier club (you both have different teams) and make it long term save. Those series are very good fun to watch. I suggest starting in Italian Serie C. Love the content, keep it up

How in the actual shag is that cheating? It's an actual feature of the game. That's just a different way of playing the game. Where you focus on signing players and creating a tactic. I like that about your content, it's different! I don't need more of the same.

I remember years back doing tactics testing for a website for Championship Manager 01/02.i would set the tactics, then set holiday mode and record the success of the tactic. It taught me a good amount about tactics and what was what in game. Outside of my tactics I remember a tactic called SergOffver2 that was very strong. So manager holiday in football manager goes back a long way.

I love your videos that you do - you come across as someone who “gets it” with work and kids etc. I get about an hour a night (if I’m not too tired..!) to play FM. I play some games, and others I holiday a season or two. Play the game how you want. I love the stories of your series & others like clayts & Stinger. I also enjoy other content creators. Keep doing what you are doing mate. I love the story telling!!

Season 3 Anderlecht is playing with 2 belgians and Brugge with 1, maybe put some restrictions on there to make it realistic.

You have one of the best FM content channels on UA-cam with quality videos and together with your dad you are a great duo! As long as your enjoying the game and making awesome content - it's all that matters.

That's how I personally play because I like experiencing 20+ year careers in a reasonable amount of time. I do draw the line at saving and reloading to force results, but I'd just simply stop watching that series, not mock the creator for it.

To only play the game the same way every time isn't playing the to its full potential. To complete it properly you surely play all and every last part of it you can.

Absolutely ridiculous criticism from these people. All the years I have played football manager I have used that buton liberally - especially later on in saves. Besides, in your format you use with your dad, the "go on holiday" or as i like to call it: Simulate - it is a perfect fit! I understand you making a video about it, it seemingly upsets you, and i really do understand. I enjoy your content, I enjoy seeing you and your dad, your dynamic and your relationship. The format is extremely entertaining, just really enjoyable. It speaks to me, especially as I have the same relationship with my dad! Keep doing what you are doing! Your dad and you are amazing! Their demands are ridiculous.. Anyways, felt like I had to leave my opinion and offer some "mental support"

I don't think there's a problem with it. It's your game, you should play it how you want to. Simulating makes sense since you have so many saves and videos that need to come out, like the Pentagon videos, youth to gold, and the rebuild videos. Doing one season takes so long that it would take an absolute crazy amount of time to release videos, so it makes sense that you simulate. The holidaying thing shouldn't change, though. In my opinion. It's a realism aspect of the game. As a manager in real life, you can't simulate. You go on holiday. So, for realism sake i think the wording should stay the same, or they should give a separate option to simulate. Don't listen to these people who complain about it, though. You make great quality videos, and they should honestly just get over it

I think the best thing about this game is that everyone can decide how to play it. Play every game without any help, set up scenarios via ingame editor, simulating whole seasons. You can ajust the game to your own preference.

Keep going and keep having fun. You bring different ideas to the fm CREATOR market, love the hidden gems you find and some of the weird tactics you create.

I use meta tactics to succeed because I like winning and having awesome stats/history in game, I love playing the game that way so haters gonna hate

There was another guy (funnily enough also called Luke… who went under the name “statapp” or “statistical approach” now his UA-cam series was engaging and very enjoyable, turns out he was editing various attributes for storytelling content … did that matter to me? Absolutely not… it was all about the story and it was enjoyable. Don’t let the haters drag you down, the other guy I’ve just spoken about got slated so much he stopped making content… sad how many haters there are for a single player playing a single player game their way. I personally find you and your dads content fantastic and look forward to more and more in the future
